Polish presidential candidate Bronislaw Komorowski won the runoff of the elections, the state election commission said Monday based on results with all the polls reporting.

Polish presidential candidate Bronislaw Komorowski won the runoff of the elections, the state election commission said Monday based on results with all the polls reporting.

Komorowski, of the centre-right Civic Platform party, had 53.01 percent of the vote, the commission said.

Opponent Jaroslaw Kaczynski, of the right-wing Law and Justice party, received 46.99 percent of the vote.
