At least 12 people have been killed by a landslide in a mining camp in Indonesia's easternmost Papua province, Metro TV reported.
At least nine people were reported missing in Monday's disaster.
The victims are believed to be employees of US mining giant Freeport-McMoran Copper and Gold Inc.
"The accident occurred at around 10.00 pm (1500 GMT) on Monday. Heavy machines could not reach the scene immediately to evacuate the victims," a police official said. "We have recovered 12 bodies."
