24th James Bond movie to be named ‘Devil May Care’
London: The title of the 24th film in the James Bond series will be “Devil May Care”, it has been revealed. According to Bizarre, the follow-up to “Skyfall” will see Daniel Craig return as 007 and will be named after the novel of the same name written in 2008 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bond creator Ian Fleming’s birth, the Sun reported.
The book is set in 1967 and was a sequel to “The Man With The Golden Gun”- which was Roger Moore’s second outing for MI6. The story features Bond battling an evil chemist called Dr Julius Gorner, who plots to bring Britain to its knees.
US lawmakers propose national park on Moon
Washington: US lawmakers are pushing a planto establish a new national park that would be quite literally be out of this world - on the Moon. A new bill introduced into the US Congress would create the Apollo Lunar Landing Sites National Historical Park on the Moon.
Called the Apollo Lunar Landing Legacy Act, the bill (House Resolution 2617) was referred to the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, and in addition to the House Committee on Natural Resources, SPACE.com reported. Emphasising that the Apollo lunar programme was one of the greatest achievements in the US history, the bill notes that, as commercial enterprises and foreign nations acquire the ability to land on the Moon, “it is necessary to protect the Apollo lunar landing sites for posterity.”
Ex-US lawyer sues Apple for letting him access porn
Washington: A Tennessee native has filed a lawsuit against Apple, claiming that the company is at fault for selling him devices, which gave him unlimited access to porn on the internet.
Former attorney Chris Sevier, in a 50 page complaint, claimed that since the tech giant is concerned with the welfare of US’ children, it should sell its devices in “safe mode,” with software preset to filter out adult content, the Huffington Post reported.
The complaint says that his problem started after he tried to visit Facebook.com, but by mistakenly wrote F**kbook.com, a porn site, which appealed to his biological sensibilities and led to an unwanted addiction. Ani
Brazilian man dies after cow crashes through roof
London: A man from Brazil was killed after a cow fell on him through the roof of his house.
The one-tonne cow was grazing on a hill behind the man’s house, in the town of Caratinga, when it stepped on the house’s asbestos roof, which broke under its weight, the BBC reported. 45-year-old Joao Maria de Souza was rushed to hospital after the incident and died the day after, of internal bleeding.
