With their first suspect in custody, Yemeni police are continuing to hunt for the terrorists believed responsible for mailing a pair of powerful bombs to attack the United States.
U.S. and Yemeni officials are increasingly seeing al-Qaida's hand in the failed plot. The Yemeni police have also arrested a young woman who was a medical student, on suspicion of mailing the bombs, which were powerful enough to take down airplanes.
Others being sought, include the same bomb maker suspected of designing the explosive for a failed bombing on a Detroit-bound airliner last Christmas.
The two bombs discovered on Friday were addressed to Chicago-area synagogues. They were pulled off airplanes in England and the United Arab Emirates.
