Most of the rape cases registered last year in Nepal occurred in broad day light, a report said.
Report jointly produced by Nepal Police and Women and Children Service Centre said that out of 382 rape case reported last year 234 occurred in day light, out of which 90 reported have occurred in the morning and 144 in the afternoon.
71 cases were reported on Sunday, highest number of such sexual abuses in a week day.
Out of 395 victims of sexual abuses, 265 were below the age of 16, the report said.
Among them 219 victim were literate, 81 were illiterate and 95 had only completed school education.
Most of the rapist were unmarried.
