In the backdrop of reports that the civilian government in Pakistan might not have control over the army often suspected to be behind terror attacks, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday said there was "total cohesion" between the army and the civilian administration.

"I will assure you that there is total cohesion and there is total cohesion and there is total unanimity of views between the army, intelligence agencies and the civilian government", Gilani said in reply to a question at the World Economic Forum here.

He was asked to comment on reports that the civilian government in Pakistan does not have control over the country's security establishment.
