Pakistani first class cricketer Numan Habib was found murdered in a sack in Peshawar city on Tuesday, police said.
The body of 32-year-old Habib was found in a sack in Hayatabad area of Peshawar in the country's northwest, police officials said.
He was the son of late Fazal Habib, a former official of the Peshawar District Cricket Association.
The reason for the murder could not immediately be ascertained.
Sports circles condemned the murder of the cricketer and demanded exemplary punishment for his killers.
