Pakistan’s new PM Raja Pervez Ashraf defended on Saturday President Asif Ali Zaradri’s immunity, saying it would end the day after he leaves office.

His comments come after Pakistan’s Supreme Court gave him two weeks to indicate whether he would ask Swiss authorities to reopen corruption cases against the president.

Meanwhile, an anti-narcotics court on Saturday issued a search warrant in a bid to facilitate the arrest of former PM Yousuf Raza Gilani’s son Ali Musa.
