A passenger aircraft with 150 people on board had to make an emergency landing at an airport in Russia's Siberia region after a collision with the birds.

The Airbus A-320, which was on its way to Krasnodar in southern Russia, landed successfully at the Tolmachevo airport in Novosibirsk city on Sunday after flying into a flock of birds, RIA Novosti reported quoting an official.
