In an unprecedented gesture, the Pakistani authorities have openly acknowledged 2008 Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed’s Jamaat-ud_Dawah (JuD) as an “alias” of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba.

A directive issued by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority seems to denote a significant departure from Islamabad’s earlier stand.
