Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton, who is known to be snap happy, has finally grabbed a job as a photographer.
The 28-year-old, who has been secretly preparing a portfolio of pictures for months while living with William in Wales, is said to be "exhilarated" after landing the deal for an exhibition of her work, the News of the World reported.
Kate, who studied photography as part of her History of Art degree, is now finalising details of the London show due to take place later this year.
"This is Kate's passion. She has always wanted to be a photographer since she was a student. It's a bit ironic that after all her run-ins with photographers she has now become one. I suppose if you can't beat them, join them," an insider was quoted by the British tabloid as saying.
Among Kate's best work to be exhibited in the autumn is a hazy sunset. There is also a brilliant "wild seascape" and it's hoped that the show will raise money for charity.
In the past, Kate has been criticised for not having a proper job. The British Queen was reportedly worried she was seen as work shy.
