Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter on screen, could not conjure up an England victory over India on Monday but he got a wish fulfilled. After lining up with other boys and girls, he got the autographs of Sachin Tendulkar and Andrew Strauss.
Sources said he was a Tendulkar fan and knew about his “wizardry on cricket fields” around the world. The actor was said to be a bit disappointed that could not see the Little Master bat.
Radcliffe spent his 18th birthday at Lord’s and was invited into the press box by Jonathan Agnew of BBC’s ‘Test Match Special’. When Strauss found out that Radcliffe would join the BBC at lunch, he asked Agnew to get a Harry Potter book signed for his child.
