Several persons were feared killed when a suicide attacker blew up his explosives-laden vehicle at a volleyball ground in northwest Pakistan on Friday.

The attack occurred at Shah Hasankhel, located 25 km from Lakki Marwat in the southern part of North West Frontier Province, police said.

District police chief Ayub Khan confirmed that the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber.
Several persons were feared killed in the attack, the latest in a series of devastating suicide bombings across Pakistan that has killed over 500 people since October last year.
