Finally, there’s some news about former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Deported to Jeddah from Islamabad on September 10, Sharif had met Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on Saturday.

It appears that he might have to serve out the remaining period of his ten-year exile in Saudi Arabia if reports emanating from the Kingdom are any indication. On September 10, SPA reported that Sharif was “back as a guest” of the kingdom. The Saudi government said it “welcomes his stay for the second time following his travel to Islamabad... breaking his pledge not to return to Pakistan and involve (sic) in politics."
