A problem with a docking port on the International Space Station delayed the departure of three crew members due to return to Earth on Friday by at least a day, a Mission Control spokeswoman said.

"There will be no undocking today," the spokeswoman said.

Clamps on the docking port failed to open, preventing a Soyuz capsule carrying Russians Alexander Skvortsov and Mikhail Korniyenko and NASA astronaut Tracy Caldwell Dyson from separating for the descent, she said.
