Suicide attack in Kabul kills at least 7, say officials

A suicide attacker detonated a car bomb near a district police headquarters close to Afghanistan's presidential palace in central Kabul on Wednesday, killing at least seven people and wounding 22, an official said.

A suicide attacker detonated a car bomb near a district police headquarters close to Afghanistan's presidential palace in central Kabul on Wednesday, killing at least seven people and wounding 22, an official said.

"The initial reports from Kabul hospitals show seven killed and 22 wounded including women and children," Sayed Kabir Amiri, the head of hospitals in the capital, told AFP.
