A suspected suicide bomber was arrested in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province while heading towards Abbotabad from Mardan with explosive kits.
The police recovered an explosive jacket and two bombs from the man near Haripur after a special CID intercepted the van in which the suspect was heading towards Abbotabad, Geo TV said on Sunday.
Sunday's arrest comes after three suspected suicide bombers were killed on Saturday due to an accidental explosion at Chechawattani near Multan while on a mission to target some police officials.
The explosives they carried detonated when the bicycle on which they were travelling hit a bump. The three, affiliated to a banned Islamic terrorist group, were students in a local seminary (madrassa).
