Israel-Hamas war has entered the ninth day today with Israel launching a ground offensive vowing to "fight to the finish". The opinion of surfers is sharply divided on the issue of hostilities. While the western world in unison is demanding an immediate ceasefire in the nine day war that has claimed more than 400 lives, the people of Asian and specially sub continet region are of the opinion that Israel is well within its limit to wage a war against the Hamas. Hindustantimes.com asked surfers to send in their comments and here is what our surfers have to say:

Evans Sumitra from US says, "I think International community should put more pressure to end this conflict before more innocent civilians are lost."

Mark Davis From United Kingdom says, "Both Hamas and Israel are responsible for the loss of innocent lives. Gaza is a big jail where air, water and land routes are controlled by Israel. I cannot imagine how people live there. There should be an immediate ceasefire. Hamas shouldn't fire rockets and at the sametime Israel should remove land, sea and land blockade.

Haris Malik From Norway says, "Yes, there must be immediate action by UN and international community to stop this attack. The whole world has become a silent spectator to whats going on. There is no justification for Israel's attacks. Hamas fires a rocket that makes a hole in the wall, and in reaction they kill hundreds.

Danish Shafi from New Delhi says, "Isreali forces are killing innocent people in Gaza they are responsible for collateral damage and bloodshed, According to me in coming days this will lead to more suicide bombings, state terrorism.

However, Sher Singh From United States of America says, "Why doesn't the International Community put more pressure on Hamas? They were the one's that broke the cease fire, right? So now they're paying for it. This is the kind of action India needs to take with terrorists too.

Jai Singh From Switzerland says, "The international pressure should be put on Hamas terrorists who do not care about Israeli or Palestinian lives. They use innocent women and children as so called weapons of war. They have been warned enough before Israel has reacted to daily rocket fire. Every country has a right to live in peace and security. Hamas has been steadily dragging the Palestinian people to misery and suffering."

Danish Shafi from New Delhi says, "Isreali forces are killing innocent people in Gaza they are responsible for collateral damage and bloodshed, According to me in coming days this will lead to more suicide bombings, state terrorism.
