After years of intrigue, the identity of the surrogate mother of Michael Jackson's third child, Prince Michael II better known as 'Blanket', has been revealed.
She is a Mexican nurse whom the pop star selected after a long search, claims a new report. The Mexican nurse Helena received $20,000 as fees to have the child and the pop star lavished her with expensive gifts and a staff to tend to her needs, reported Mirror online.
While many people have come forward to claim the paternity of Jackson's two elder children Prince Michael and Paris, the identity of Blanket's mother had remained a secret till now.
"Michael wanted a designer baby. He had two wonderful children but wanted one more and was quite specific on the gene pool he wanted to tap into," a source told the newspaper.
On his birth certificate Michael Jackson is identified as the father but the space for 'Name of Mother' is left blank.
Jackson's third child, conceived through IVF with his sperm, was born on February 21, 2002 at the Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, near San Diego in Southern California.
