The total number of swine flu cases have now reached nine in Nepal with three more persons testing positive for the A/H1N1 virus.
A 74-year-old man, 23-year-old woman and 21-year-old man who have returned from USA tested positive for the virus yesterday, according to the Ministry of Health.
The infected persons have been quarantined and are being treated, the health officials said.
The government had earlier registered six other people infected with the A/H1N1 virus.
The first case of swine flu in the country was reported last month with a 41-year-old non-resident Nepalese man, his wife and son, who returned from USA tested positive for the virus.
However, they have already recovered due to timely treatment.
