world Updated: May 03, 2009 12:41 IST

Two Indian-origin Canadian teenagers, who were kidnapped from Abotsford three days ago, have been found dead, police said on Sunday.

Police confirmed that the grade-12 students of W J Mouat Secondary School , Dilsher Singh Gill (17) and Joseph Randay (18) were found dead inside an abandoned car on Friday after being kidnapped at gun point from Abbotsford's Bateman Park the previous night, 'The Vancouver Sun' reported. No cause of death has been released.

However, the report said that the killing was linked with an earlier attack on an Indo-Canadian family two months ago.
Randay was a Facebook friend of one Mike Ahuja whose home was targeted in a drive-by shooting in March this year, the paper said.

Situated along the US border, Abotsford hosts large number of Punjabi community.
