A 27-year-old man from Oregon in US was jailed after he urinated on passengers, seats and luggage on a JetBlue flight.

Jeff Rubin was taken into custody on Friday after the JetBlue Flight 47 he was traveling on, landed at Portland International Airport, police said.

Rubin was asleep for most of the flight, but about 30 minutes before the flight was scheduled to land, "he stood up and began urinating through the crack of the seat onto the passengers seated in front of him," reported.

As he continued to relieve himself, Rubin lost his balance and fell backwards and "urinate(d) upwards which got the passengers and seats next to him as well as some other passengers' personal belongings," police said.

When the officers boarded the aircraft, they found Rubin "slumped over asleep in his seat". Rubin, who lives in Gresham Oregon, spent about 5 hours in jail after he was booked into the Multnomah County detention center, police said, adding that he was charged with one count each of second-degree criminal mischief and offensive littering.
