Police say a van carrying about 30 schoolchildren plunged into a river in Pakistan occupied Kashmir and most of the kids are feared dead.
Police officer Ghulam Akber says police rescued the driver and three injured children after Tuesday's accident. Rescuers are trying to reach the van in the middle of the river to save more children. The driver lost control on an elevated road next to the Jhelum River in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-held Kashmir. Pakistan's devastating floods that started in July didn't appear to have been a factor in the crash.
