A new video showing militants shooting dead 25 soldiers in an amphitheatre in the ancient Syrian city of Palmyra was released by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
According to The Guardian, the soldiers shown in the video were fighting for the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
The video, showing young killers, was distributed via accounts linked to ISIS militants.
The executions in the Palmyra amphitheatre were first reported on May 27 by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based monitor, less than a week after IS captured the city. (AFP Photo)
Hundreds of men in civilian clothes are shown sitting watching the slaughter on the steps in front of a stage with the backdrop of a large ISIS flag.
The killers are also shown holding guns and dressed in desert camouflage and brown bandanas.
