Half a dozen Romanian witches have performed a ritual and cast spells designed to help people find true love on Valentine's Day.
Joined by a handful of apprentice witches, queen witch Mihaela Minca led Monday's outdoor ceremony, casting spells with peacock feathers and rose petals.
The witches wore colourful, glittering robes in freezing temperatures to perform the ritual in the lakeside village of Mogosoaia.
Romanian witches could use some good karma. The government has recently began taxing them, and a new bill threatens fines or even prison if their predictions don't come true.
