There is a "real sense of excitement" at Barack Obama's Presidency and the world is now "ready for a new look," US Vice President Joseph Biden has said following his maiden overseas trip in office.
On his way back from Germany, where he delivered a key foreign policy speech at the 45th Munich Security Conference, Biden said the new US foreign policy was greeted well by leaders.
In his address, Biden unveiled a new US foreign policy under the Obama Administration. "It seemed to be greeted pretty well," he told a small gathering of US Air Force personnel and their family members at the RAF Mildenhall, England, where he stopped briefly for refueling.
RAF Mildenhall is the only air refueling wing for US Air Force in Europe.
"I think the world is ready for a new look. There's a real sense of excitement at President Obama," Biden told his countrymen as he mingled and chatted with them.
According to a pool report, Biden told them that he gave an outline of Obama's foreign policy, that will "set a new tone in America's relations around the world," at the Munich security conference.
