Anushka Sharma made her husband Virat Kohli proud with her performance in Pari.

Anushka Sharma’s horror film Pari hit the screens on March 2, and the actor has received a great response from her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli. The captain of Indian team took to his Twitter page and wrote, “Watched #Pari last night, has to be my Wife’s best work ever! 🤩 One of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. Got quite scared but so very proud of you @AnushkaSharma.”

Anushka Sharma’s Pari is a tale set in the backdrop of an incident that took place in Bangladesh and revolves around the life of Rukhsana (Anushka). The movie produced by Anushka Sharma under her home banner, Clean Slate Films has failed to impress the critics so far. Anushka has however received praise for her performance and her interest in doing out-of-box roles.

Virat was present at the special screening of the film alongside Anushka. The recently married couple has been showing their appreciation for each other on social media. Be it Anushka Sharma when Virat hits a century or vice versa. The two have opened up about their relationship on social media after they tied the knot in December in Italy.

Pari movie, on the other hand, has been banned in Pakistan. One of the cineplexes, Nue Cinemas took to their official Facebook page and wrote, “We have just been informed that PARI has been banned by the Central Board of Film Censors, Pakistan. Hence the film will not be screened at Nueplex Cinemas. Tickets already sold can be refunded from our box office. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”

There hasn’t been an official statement regarding the same as of now.
