CBI court grants bail to retired PNB officer in ₹9.10 cr LoU fraud
Retired Punjab National Bank official Gokulnath Shetty, accused in a fraud case related to the issuance of fraudulent letters of undertaking, has been granted bail by a special CBI court in Mumbai. The court noted that the alleged loss had been recovered and the bank had gained an additional amount of INR55 lakh ($79,000) in interest. Shetty is also an accused in the INR13,850 crore fraud at PNB.

52-year-old shopkeeper sent to 5-years in jail for molesting 10-year-old girl

Court allows Aniksha Jaisinghani to get her father’s signature on property papers
Aniksha Jaisinghani, daughter of bookie Anil Jaisinghani, has been granted permission to obtain her father's signature on a property deed relinquishing his rights over a shop in Ulhasnagar. Anil is currently in jail for allegedly trying to bribe and blackmail the wife of the deputy chief minister. The court allowed Aniksha to approach her father in prison to get the papers signed before a notary. The court also asked her to submit a copy of the documents within two days. Aniksha had been arrested on charges of blackmail and extortion but was granted bail.
