3-year-old falls into trench near Mumbai, dies

According to the police, the girl and her five-year-old friend, were playing near the trench when they fell into the pit after losing balance

The locality, where the fire broke out, is a slum, with people living in rooms made up of iron sheets. Several lives were saved due to prompt action by the locals and the fire department, said officials.
