The journey of flight sergeant (retd) Mukul Joshi as a traffic volunteer began in 2004 after the death of his close friend’s 19-year-old son in a road accident. Since then the retired IAF officer went to traffic stops handing out pamphlets and praising people for following traffic rules

Noida cops crack down on offences, collect Rs3.7 lakh in fines over three days

Noida: Robbers who gave cops the slip after gunfight arrested

The trio and an associate, identified as Robin, were intercepted by a police team for checking around 7pm near Gautam Budh Nagar University on Tuesday, following which the suspects allegedly opened fire and fled.

The four men were involved in seven cases of robbery in Greater Noida, the police said.
