Delhi HC orders compensation for IAF pilot injured in MiG crash, raps HAL

More than 12 years after he was injured in a MiG-21 crash, the Delhi court has ordered the Centre and the Hindustan Aeronautical Limited to compensate Wing Commander Sanjeet Singh Kaila for exposing him to unreasonable risk.

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday ordered the Centre and Hindustan Aeronautical Limited to pay compensation to an Indian Air Force pilot who was injured in a MiG-21 crash in 2005 and ruled that officers of the armed forces could not be put to more than reasonable risk.(PTI)

Twin murder convict freed after ‘typo’ by Delhi High Court, goes missing

A typographical error in a verdict delivered by the Delhi High Court has allegedly led to a double-murder convict being released. The convict, as of Sunday, was reported to be absconding for more than three months, posing a threat to eye-witness in the case against him.
