Two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto said on Tuesday its partnership with Renault-Nissan alliance to make an ultra low-cost car was intact and the project was on schedule.

The company was responding to a media report that said it had scrapped the joint venture agreement with Renault for a supply agreement.

'The partnership is intact, and the project is on schedule,' it said in a statement.
