My new Yamaha Fazer has a peculiar problem. Even when I ride it for as little as 8 km, the engine heats up rapidly and emits a burning smell. What could the problem be?
You need to show the bike urgently to the nearest Yamaha service centre. While it is impossible to correctly pinpoint the reason behind the problem without seeing the bike, do ask the mechanics to check it for leaking oil seals, gaskets and the correct level of engine oil.

I ride 45 km daily, mostly within city limits. I want a 150 cc motorcycle which can provide a comfortable ride and fuel economy. The bike should also be wallet-friendly in terms of maintenance and service costs. Which one will suit me best between the Suzuki GS150R, Yamaha FZ-S, Honda CB Unicorn and the CB Unicorn Dazzler?
Of the shortlisted bikes, the Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler is your best bet. It is a smart motorcycle that meets your needs. Its 149.1 cc engine is refined and flexible. There is more than adequate power for city riding and a highway jaunt. Ride quality, though slightly on the firmer side, is comfortable. Maintenance costs and service are at par with the competition.

I have a Bajaj XCD 135 DTS-i and have replaced its Nitrox rear suspension with the Nitrox unit from the Bajaj Discover 135 DTS-i. Will this affect my bike in any way?

Yes, such major suspension changes will negatively affect your bike’s handling. It is best that you revert to the original suspension.
