Here’s the full list of slashed prices of cars and bikes after GST rollout

Automobiles, apart from hybrid cars and a super sports bikes, have become cheaper after the Goods and Services Tax kicked in.
Most automakers chose to pass on the benefit of lower taxes to their customers, reducing the ex-showroom prices of the cars that will now be at parity in the unified market.
Here are the biggest changes in the prices of cars and bikes:
India’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki cut its car prices by up to 3%, which translates into a discount of Rs 2,300 in the base model Alto to Rs 23,400 in the Ciaz petrol variant.

Toyota Kirloskar Motors
Toyota Kirloskar Motors suffered a heavy blow in June sales, since both its bread-and-butter models -- the Fortuner SUV and Innova Crysta -- were set to become cheaper in July. The result: Customers delayed their purchase and TKM posted 86% drop in domestic sales, though the company also cautiously cut its production and dispatches to the dealers.
But as the GST kicked in, the company offered discounts in the range of Rs 10,500 to Rs 2.17 lakh

Honda Cars India Ltd
Honda Cars India Ltd too reduced its car prices in the range of Rs 12,000 for the base model of Brio hatchback up to Rs 1.31 lakh for the top end CR-V variant.

Ford Motor Company
Vehicles of Ford India too have became cheaper by up to 4.5%, with the flagship SUV Endeavour now less expensive by up to Rs 3 lakh.

French carmaker Renault India too made its cars -- hatchback KWID, compact SUV Duster and MPV Lodgy -- cheaper in the range of Rs 5,200 to Rs 1.04 lakh.

Mahindra & Mahindra SUVs have also become more affordable in the post-GST era, with average prices coming down by up to 6.9%.
Tata Motors too discounted its car prices by Rs 3,300 to Rs 2.17 lakh, applicable on Tata’s entire range. The largest automaker by revenue in India sells a line up hatchbacks, compact sedans, SUVs and crossovers. Its entry-level hatch Tata Nano, priced between Rs 2.26 lakh to Rs 3.20 lakh, to the flagship crossover Tata Hexa, price between Rs 10.96 lakh to Rs 16.94 lakh.
Luxury carmaker BMW was the first and the fastest to offer the pre-GST discount on its set of wheels. The discounts company continued to offer the discounts post-July and even revealed the post-GST prices of its BMW 5 Series model launched on June 29.

Slashing its car prices, Volkswagen Group’s luxury car brand Audi India’s head Raheel Ansari said, “We welcome the GST. Hopefully this will be a new & exciting phase of the luxury car business. The new realigned prices offer great opportunity to expand the market and widen our customer base.”

The taxes on two-wheelers have remained more or less the same, though high-end bikes with engines of 350cc or more have become costlier due to an additional 3% cess.
India’s legendary two-wheeler maker Royal Enfield revealed its line-up prices, giving a clear idea of the impact of GST on prices of vehicles across segments.
