Options for a diesel saloon
I am in the market for a diesel saloon. I have shortlisted the Fiat Linea and the Ford Fiesta. I like the Linea’s looks. What is your opinion about its reliability — will it last for five years? A Between the Linea and Fiesta, we prefer the Linea and agree that it’s a great looking car. However, the chic styling is not the only reason to buy the Linea. It’s a very solid car and will certainly last for more than five years. The Linea’s brilliant ride and handling makes it a great highway car as it gives you a lot of confidence at high speeds. Maintenance and aftersales are not one of Fiat’s strong points and hence don’t expect the same peace of mind you would get if you bought a Maruti. However, the Linea is still a terrific car and worth going in for.
