Anushka Sharma was seen cheering husband Virat Kohli from the stands at the Sydney Cricket Ground, where the Indian cricket team is playing the fourth and the last test match of the series.
Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is back on the ground for the fourth test match against Australia and cheering him on from the stands is wife Anushka Sharma. New photos that emerged online saw Anushka applauding the team as they played the Aussies at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). India is leading the series 2-1 after winning the opening clash in Adelaide and the third one at MCG. Australia claimed victory in Perth.
The actor, whose film Zero released on December 21, joined Virat in Australia after wrapping up the promotions of the film. The couple also posted photos from their New Year celebrations in Sydney. .
Anushka’s pictures surfaced on fan accounts on Friday, which show her playing peek-a-boo with the camera. Wearing a sleek pink halter neck dress, the actor looked beautiful as she watched the match.
Earlier, Anushka had shared a picture along with Virat to wish their fans at the beginning of the New Year. She wrote along with the picture, “Hope you all wake up to the new year filled with hope , peace and compassion ... May we all strive to be kinder to one another and illuminate the light and beauty that resides within... A very happy new year from us to you.”
Pictures of the couple having a gala time on the streets of Sydney on New Year’s eve won the hearts of their fans. While Anushka was dressed for the occasion in a metallic silver one-shoulder dress, Virat complemented her in black and brown ensemble. Another video of the couple roaming on the streets also went viral.
On the work front, Zero, in which Anushka stars opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, got a mixed response from critics and audiences. The film has collected around ₹90 crore in 12 days.
In 2017, Virat and Anushka had a destination wedding in Italy’s Tuscany with only close family and friends in attendance. The couple’s wedding posts got record-breaking numbers.
