It seems like Delhi’s chill is turning out to be too cold for sultry Mallika Sherawat. The actor was recently down with a bout of fever during the shooting of Kismet Luv Paisa Dilli in the Capital. But despite her ill health, she continued shooting with the help of some medication.
The story goes like this: Mallika is currently busy with an extensive night schedule in Delhi for Kismet Luv Paisa Dilli (KLPD). The freezing cold in the Capital got worse with rains on the first day of the schedule. “We were shooting late in the night when Mallika started shivering due to the cold weather and got fever,” says a source.
Due to the weakness caused by the fever, the Murder actor was unable to shoot. “It was only when the production team arranged for a doctor at around 4 am in the morning to administer her some medical help, she could resume shooting. But despite weakness, she continued to film the sequences since the Delhi schedule needs to be wrapped up within a specific period,” says the source.
When contacted, producer Amit Chandrra seems excited about the film’s progress. “These are things (illnesses) that we don’t have control over, but Mallika shot despite being unwell which is great and says a lot about her professionalism,” she says.
For the uninitiated, Sanjay Khanduri’s KLPD, being produced by Chandrra’s Invincible Entertainment along with Krishan Chaudhary’s Shrishti Cine Entertainment, is a comic thriller set in Delhi. The film will witness for the first time, the novel pairing between Vivek Oberoi and Mallika.
Besides areas like Saket, the film will be shot around India Gate, Buddha Garden and several Delhi Metro locations.
