Looking forward to her upcoming project Shanghai, actor Kalki Koechlin says that working with director Dibakar Bannerjee wasn’t exactly a cakewalk.

“He (Dibakar) is a perfectionist. He almost made me cry during the shoot. It was a month-long shoot in small towns in Latur and Baramati, where there was no proper food, hot water and proper resting place too. We had nothing much to do there, but that helped us stay focused,” she says.
