Hookah Bar is a club track featuring a simple, catchy chorus line — something that composer Himesh Reshammiya is known for. The quirky lyrics and the video starring Akshay Kumar and Asin add to its massy appeal. Reshammiya shares his experience of working on the tune.
Youth connect: “The melody is very addictive. I composed it keeping the youth in mind and what they would like to hear when they go out partying at clubs.”
Special song: “Besides singing and composing the song, I have also written the lyrics for it. Singers Aman and Vineet join me on the hookline, Tera pyar hookah bar. Because of its powerful melody, I loved singing it more than I have enjoyed singing my previous songs.”
