Kartik Aaryan is one of the most good looking and talented actors in showbiz, despite that he’s single. Ask him about the reason behind his relationship status, and the actor says, “I am single and there’s not two ways about it. I haven’t come across the right girl.”

Best known for his famous monologue in the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) and its sequel, Kartik feels that girls took him a bit too seriously. “Maybe girls think that I can never be in a relationship and I can only give advice to other men to not fall in love or get committed to a girl. But that’s not true,” laughs the actor, adding that the monologue (A Happy Woman is a Myth) only worked wonders for him.

Interestingly, ever since his eight-minute-long rant in the film became famous, Kartik has been getting a lot of queries from couples to solve their love problems.

“It’s funny that monologue was something else, but ironically I ended up becoming a love guru. I get so many messages from people seeking advice to mend their relationship. So it has worked the other way round for me that despite my cribbing, girls have been asking me for relationship tips,” says Kartik.

On whether he’s keen on getting into a relationship, the actor says he’s still looking for the right girl. “Main abhi bhi dhoond hi raha hoon. But most importantly, I’m concentrating on my career. Also, I am choosy about everything in my life, whether it’s a film or a girl you date. So, I really believe that it takes time and I will find a girl whenever the time is right.”

Kartik, who has worked with Nushrat Bharucha in Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011), Akaash Vaani (2013) and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), will again be seen with her in his next film, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. So have there ever been link-up rumours between the two? “It’s only natural and woh hota hi hai iss industry mein. If you are working together again and again, people do tend to link you up but you know what’s true and what’s not, so it doesn’t really matter to us,” clarifies the actor.
