Nick Jonas shares Priyanka Chopra’s dance with kids at orphanage, says she fills his heart. Watch video
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are fawning at each other since getting engaged. The singer shared a proud video of his actor fiancee as she happily danced with kids at an orphanage.
Priyanka Chopra is making Nick Jonas so proud. The actor and her singer fiancé visited an orphanage in Mumbai on Sunday where she made a young girl’s day by dancing with her. Nick was so impressed with her that he made a video and posted it on Instagram.
“St. Catherine’s orphanage today. My heart is full,” he wrote with the video in which Priyanka is seen excitedly dancing with a girl to Tune Maari Entriyan from her film Gunday. Priyanka and the girl match their steps perfectly in the video and Nick also pans his camera to the crowd to show their happy faces.
Nick and Priyanka made their engagement official with a traditional Hindu ceremony on Saturday. In the presence of close friends and family, Nick and Priyanka participated in a puja and later shared pictures from the ceremony on social media. “Taken ... With all my heart and soul,” Chopra wrote . On Jonas’ page, he wrote , “Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love.”

Nick arrived in Mumbai on Friday morning with his parents, father Kevin Sr and mother Denise. Priyanka and her family hosted Nick and his parents to a dinner at a restaurant the following evening. After the roka ceremony on Saturday evening, they partied with their friends and family the following night. The list of invitees included actor Alia Bhatt, businessman Mukesh Ambani with his wife Nita and daughter Isha, director Vishal Bharadwaj and more. Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur, producer of Priyanka’s new film The Sky is Pink, were among the first guests to arrive at the party. Nick’ parents also attended the party with Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth.
Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma attended the party along with her husband Aayush Sharma and writer Mushtaq Sheikh. Popular DJ Khushi played the music as the guests enjoyed the night. In some videos shared on social media, Priyanka, 36, is seen dancing away while Nick, 25, is seen shaking his head like a bobblehead.
A family picture also sees Nick and Priyanka kissing the former’s parents on the cheek. “What an amazing day of celebration for @nickjonas and @priyankachopra engagement and Indian culture,” Nick’s father Kevin Jonas Sr posted on Instagram.
Nick’s brother Joe Jonas tweeted: “I couldn’t be happier for my brother. Welcome to the family Priyanka Chopra. We love you.”
Kevin Jonas also congratulated the couple via an Instagram Story, but the Jonas patriarch wrote: “So happy for the engagement of our son Nick Jonas and we welcome Priyanka Chopra into our family with love and excitement.”
“Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner, who got engaged to Joe last year, wrote: “Wow. First I’m blessed with an incredible future brother-in-law, and now such an beautiful, inside and out, future sister-in-law. I’m so excited to welcome you into the family (Priyanka Chopra). I love you both.”
Several celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Masaba Gupta, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Diana Penty, Neha Kakkar, Bipasha Basu, Preity Zinta, Anushka Sharma, Sophie Chaudry and Malaika Arora sent in good wishes to the couple.
Nick gained fame as a member of the Jonas Brothers musical group and is now a solo artist and actor. Nick and Priyanka met at the 2017 Met Gala where they both represented Ralph Lauren. The rumours of their relationship began in May 2018 as the two were often spotted on dinner dates and outing around New York. She invited him to Mumbai and her house a few months ago and he accompanied Priyanka and her cousins to a small beach vacation in Goa.
He reportedly popped the big question on her 36th birthday in July in England and as we now have confirmation, she did say yes!
