Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Thalaivar Tribute (lungi dance) from Chennai Express is said to have received a nod by legendary actor Rajinikanth. The song, by rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, pays a tribute to Rajinikanth, who is given the title Thalaivar (supreme leader) by his fans.

The song, by rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, pays a tribute to Rajinikanth, who is given the title Thalaivar (supreme leader) by his fans.

A source close to the film says, "Obviously if Shah Rukh is giving a tribute to Rajinikanth, due permissions have been taken. We hear that Rajinikanth sir has blessed the song and given a nod to it".

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Chennai Express also features Deepika Padukone. It releases on August 9.
