If reports are to be believed, fans might get to see their favourite stars and “former lovers” Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif come together again. This time it could be in a Karan Johar production.

Salman and Katrina are currently working on Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai after being seen together in Kabir Khan’s Ekk Tha Tiger in 2012, and Karan Johar could bring them together again.

“While KJo’s next directorial will be with Ranbir Kapoor, he wants to produce a film with Salman and Katrina in the lead as he finds their chemistry sizzling,” A DNA report quoted a source as saying.

The sources said earlier, the film was to star Pakistani actor Fawad Khan along with Katrina, but with the ban on Pakistani actors, that is not happening.

“Hence the filmmaker was keen to rope in Salman,” the source said, adding, “The script is being reworked for Dabangg Khan and to make the character more suitable to him. The pre-production work on the film has begun.”

Hindustan Times could not independently verify the report.

For Tiger Zinda Hai, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar has roped in Hollywood action director Tom Struthers and his team to do the stunts.

Katrina is awaiting the release of Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos with Ranbir Kapoor while Salman is gearing up for the release of Kabir Khan’s next, Tubelight.
