Fresh from all the praise and recognition he got in his debut film Lootera, actor Vikrant Massey says he is hoping for good work to come his way now. “I hope I get good work. I haven’t signed any new films yet but there are a couple things in the pipeline. I never expected to get noticed in the film. But the feeling is sinking in now. Things are getting better and I am happy in my present space,” he says.
But despite the film offers he is getting Vikrant, who started his career with television and is known for his roles in Balika Vadhu, Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo, is in no mood to quit TV. “People ask me if I am going to leave TV but my answer is a big ‘no’,”he says.
But doesn’t he have big Bollywood ambitions? “I just want people to respect me as an actor. Now whether that makes me a star or not doesn’t really matter,” Massey says. “I will continue to do TV so long as I get to prove my acting prowess,” he adds.
