Actor Vir Das made his American TV debut with a performance on the late night talk show, Conan, on Tuesday. During the five-minute performance, the 37-year-old took several jibes at American President Donald Trump. Sample this: Donald Trump Is America’s Arranged Marriage. Or this: We didn’t vote for this guy, now we gotta live with him. We didn’t choose this guy and now we have to live with him.

At the end of his performance, the show’s host Conan O’Brien asked the crowd to cheer for Vir and congratulated him.

Talking about his experience on the popular show, Vir says, “It was a blast to be on the show. Conan was humble and an opportunity to actually perform a small set of the Netflix special was very big for me. The reaction from a live audience is always very rewarding. It was truly an amazing experience.”

Vir is currently on a world tour, and will perform in 26 countries across 6 continents. His Netflix special, Abroad Understanding, is a first for an Indian stand-up comic. With this, Vir joins the likes of Amy Schumer, Kevin Hart and Russell Peters.
