When thousands upon thousands of fans came to wish Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on his 51st birthday, all he could do was wave. The overwhelming images were shared in a video by the King Khan on Twitter late Wednesday.
SRK captioned the video with, “Thank you everyone who came from all over the world to wish me. U make me feel so special & loved. Really this is the best moment for me.” But these words couldn’t do justice to sheer number of people thronging the streets outside his Mumbai home Mannat.

And as if to add to the point, the video was liked by more than 33,000 people and retweeted by more than 13,000.
It’s only about a minute long, but SRK never speaks a word, visibly overcome with emotion as he waves to “fans from all over the world”. Only for a few seconds does he stop waving and thanking them when he warns a few who have climbed some sort of ledge to be careful.
He even shared a selfie with the crowd in the background, but it hardly captures the entirety of those who turned up.
He wrote, “If I could, I would jump amidst you. So that you could take me home. Thank you all for coming and making my birthday so special. Love you!”
Shah Rukh Khan was recently seen in a cameo appearance in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and will soon be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in Dear Zindagi.
