Born and raised in Spain and the Philippines, Hafiz calls himself a digital nomad influenced by the great travelers-cum-storytellers like Anthony Bourdain. Inspired by such figures, he is dedicated to noting down his travels as an all-encompassing feature that speaks as much about the traveler as it does about the place.

Hafiz has studied Spanish culture in Salamanca, Spain and Criminal Justice in the Philippines. Besides, he can speak Castillan Spanish, Catalan, French and Filipino with ease. His passion for travel blogging and public speaking has taken him across 3 continents and 140 cities as a solo traveler. The famous quote of his, “Travel without borders”, encapsulates his travel experiences, which he is currently busy putting into the form of a book.

Speaking about blogging, Hafiz says, “I think, I always have the voice but my blog gave me a platform to inspire others. Our world needs storytellers who can provide such unique stories. After I have gone from a trip in Kashmir or Punjab for example, the unique stories of the people can change how we are used to believing things negatively and if we travel influencers can create a content that is worth reading, our world will be better.”

He uses his blog to discuss not just travel guides, local food or other such things but also the stories that are unique to a place, stories that you usually don’t get to read on travel blogs!

Speaking about his experience in India, Hafiz said, “India is a country that made me laugh and ignited the inner self in me as well. It tested my patience as a normal traveler, a western and part South East Asian guy who grew up in a middle class family, I could say it made me feel grateful.” Among the memories he gathered from his Indian journey, he counts the hospitality of Kashmir and the crazy photo walk in Rajasthan as some of the highlights.

Hafiz is also quite active on Instagram and his photographs prove that he is also an accomplished photographer. His work captures the essence of a place, in a way that most travelers can’t.
