If there is one young man who has studied the online streaming market correct in India, it is Amar Syal. Armed with such precise insight, Amar has decided to partner with the fastest growing company in California, Create Music Group (CMG).
Though Amar, and his brother Aman, were early seed investors in the company in 2015, it is only now that Amar has decided to take this association to the partnership level. His role will be that of a silent partner and he will focus his energy towards international music market in countries like India. CMG will start with venturing out with Bollywood music industry and its eventual destination is going to be the highly profitable sector of rights management in India.
For the fiscal year 2019, CMG reported a total profit of $28 million USD, which was $133,000 USD more than what it posted in 2016. That earned the company its moniker, “California’s fastest growing company.”
About his future plans, Amar Syal says, “Online streaming is only expected to expand, and India will the forefront with its millennial mass. We plan to capture the up and coming youth market and develop it into a robust, sustainable business and allow for entertainers to collect their payment at ease.”
However, this young businessman is not going to stop at just that. He adds, “We plant to tap into a vastly growing South Asian market as streaming numbers continue to rise with the expansion of high-speed internet access.”
In the past 5 years, CMG has worked towards monetizing more than $100 million USD in content. It boasts of over 10,000 clients, out of which 500 are already collecting monthly earnings worth $3,000 USD.
Amar Syal is looking forward to riding the crest of the online streaming wave in India and take the content abroad. Partnering with CMG is a step in that direction!
