Just about a month ago, no one could imagine that one would be sitting at home, idle, with loads of time at hand! No thanks to Corona, or COVID-19 pandemic, we all are sitting inside the four walls of our homes, trying hard to find that silver lining in this dark cloud! Well, for the netizens, especially those who already follow social media influencer Ankita Kochhar on Instagram, things just got a bit easier!
Ankita, who, like the rest of us, is also at home these days, has been spending time thinking and deliberating about how to make lockdown a productive period of life. In this quest, she has also been forced to look at the positive side – which is to spend more time with the family as well as one’s self. Now how often do we get to spend quality time at home, with our family or even with ourselves? Quite rarely, isn’t it? So now that we have that free time at hand, let us make good use of that time, just like Ankita is doing.
Here are her lockdown mantras:
Skin care – Get your glow back. Mix 1 spoon each of honey, oats, aloe vera with 1/4th spoon of potato juice. Apply on your face & neck for 20-30 minutes, then wash off.
Hair care – With so much time at hand, do use warm oil therapy at home. Get some warm oil from the kitchen and apply it to your scalp. Warm oil improves scalp health, hair health and its texture, besides stimulating general wellness as well.

Everybody is cooking
How can you not be inspired after watching so many delectable images of gol-gappas, cheesecakes, biryanis, everyday curries and breads that people are putting on the social media? And if you are like Ankita, who doesn’t like cooking so much, this lockdown should help you realise that it is the little things that make for bigger happiness.
