Indian educationist Dr. Jogender Singh’s contribution in education is well known and their family is in the realm of education from last ninety years. They have established multiple colleges, schools and universities under the banner of OK group. He was an international level boxer, medalist and a philosophy enthusiast as well.
Dr.Jogender Singh states that he is a firm believer of right to education to all the citizens of country but competitive exams are increasing in intensity whereas reservations ignite it even more. Today in India its next to impossible for everyone to get the education they want. Education system has hidden its ugly systematic insufficiency by competitive exams. The blame is cleverly shifted on students and by doing it they keep their moral grounds high and keep a large percentage of population far from getting quality higher education. Jogender Singh is keen to solve this major problem of our system by expanding his empire of education to countries, where a quality education can be managed. Being an Indian entrepreneur his other universities are set to open from next year, including those in Montenegro and Moldova. His goal is to increase the number of skilled young students to ensure bright future of our country.
India can produce as many doctors and engineers as the world needs but the politics in the system is preventing us to come up with an adequate number. Coaching institutes tend to market toppers and competition gets propagated among children and parents. This is highly counterproductive and anti-developmental. Lot of corrupt coaching institutes are booming in this environment. They are commercially ripping people left , right and centre and promoting competitiveness for their own benefit. When asked what you have to say about giant coaching institutions providing half the percent of engineering and medical admissions, he said that’s the entire game ripping double the amount and preparing their memories. It is not necessary that the intellect of a student is getting build up.
What if greatest engineer India could ever produce has bad memory?
Our education system is decayed and needs a huge fix.
